Damn BHP.

It's going to take you a while to get your boot out of FT's arse.

quote:

1.) Selma Got Me Born - NOT EXACTLY, your parents felt safe enough to have you in 1961 - Selma had no effect on your birth, as Selma was in 1965. (Google 'Obama Selma' for his full March 4, 2007 speech and articles about its various untruths.) 13.) An Ebony Article Moved Me To Run For Office - NOT EXACTLY, Ebony has yet to find the article you mention in your book. It doesn't, and never did, exist. 14.) A Life Magazine Article Changed My Outlook On Life - NOT EXACTLY, Life has yet to find the article you mention in your book. It doesn't, and never did, exist. 20.) Without Me, There Would Be No Ethics Bill - NOT EXACTLY, you didn't write it, introduce it, change it, or create it. 32.) I passed 900 Bills in the State Senate - NOT EXACTLY, you passed 26, most of which you didn't write yourself. 1. Obama claimed credit for nuclear leak legislation that never passed. 7. Sen. Obama said 'I passed a law that put Illinois on a path to universal coverage,' but Obama health care legislation merely set up a task force. 9. Obama drastically overstated Kansas tornado deaths during campaign appearance.

Tax bill will be seen as rape by most posters after the truth sets in. They will have to go after your Medicare and social security to pay for tax cuts for the rich and the wto.
Medicare and Social Security are payroll taxes, not income taxes. They are kept separate from general budget revenues and expenditures.

What are you trying to say, Otto?

And what does the World Trade Organization have to do with the tax cut bill?

It was both a substantive lie and it was a lie to purposefully mislead the American people. Trump's lie "LITERALLY" has no affect on the American people one way or the other. Obama's lie has serious consequences for a large number of citizens. It's pretty easy to see which one was worse.

I get this. I do.

And I understand that politicians lie. I do.

But it just seems like such a petty thing to lie about and something that Trump knows will be fact checked.

It's just another thing that I don't understand.

I guess Trump just knows that most people are not going to fact check him and the ones that do either, don't support him anyways, and the ones that do, are not going to stop supporting him, so why not boost that ego a bit more.

Can we at least get the board to admit that’s a lie, or do we just not care about anything anymore?

We care about it.

But the members of his cult do not.

They are happy to jump in and spin every lie with "well what Trump meant was this..."

I mean you can't fight the faithful...they bow down to each and every one of Trump's lies as the gospel.

It's damn entertaining since most of them on this board were complaining about all the Obamabots from the previous administration.

Which is why it's fine with me to call it a lie. It was.

I just don't actually care about lies of bravado.

I didn't need to fact check it. I knew it was a lie the moment I saw it.

I'm simply fascinated at this point that there are actual humans typing out the words "do we not care about lying anymore"?

I mean. I have yet to see ANY evidence that the American public left or right cares about lying at all. But, if they do, the list of them that gives a frick about "gee, I'm great" lies is gonna be VERY short.

Yeah. It’s a big fricking deal.

I gave up and didn't expect him to be much different as POTUS and thats worked for me

Actually, I called it a lie in my first post.

And like 4 times since then.

Well. It doesn't exactly instill much confidence in other statements.

Oh come on man. Stop being a Pollyanna. If you actually believed that standard, there would be literally ZERO candidates for you to support.

Nah, just pointing out the hypocrisy from the left. Obama and Hillary have lied constantly; but now it's suddenly a big deal.

No. I get that all politicians lie.

But lying so openly about such pettiness?

People that lie so easily about stupid shite will also generally lie about important shite.

Truth is that me paying less tax.. even for 10 years is better than nothing at all..

Why were you silent when millions were forced to pay much higher health insurance premiums out of our pocket so that a small few could get health insurance that they normally could not afford?

Pahleez. The dude is a huge Hillary supporter typing "why don't we care about lying anymore".

I mean, THAT really SHOULD make people laugh at his expense.

It's like listening to a person who cheated on their spouse 50 times suddenly turn righteously indignant that their spouse later cheated on them.

I'm with you except that, again, who the hell do you support then?

I mean, it isn't really whataboutism to point out he ran against a woman who falsely claimed to be moving under fire with bullets flying overhead. And, he just took over from a guy who told quite a few whoppers himself.

So. Yeah. They all lie. And, I don't like it. But, if any of the lies are actually going to REGISTER with me, it will be lies of substance. Not bravado.
