Cohen likely knows they have something that will incriminate him (not Trump related), and he's desperately scrambling for anything to give them to keep himself out of jail.
Mr. Maddow had a melt last night talking about this new revelation: "Cohen lost a big card in his deck by letting this out now, and has probably lost some leverage".
They even threw out the idea that Trump leaked the info to hurt Cohen.
The news today reports it every hour, but also adds, "Cohen has absolutely no evidence".
The circus goes on.

As has been commented on several times, oppo research is not very valuable unless it's reliable. It wasn't like Steele was a gum-shoe P.I. from Brooklyn.

What allegations are you making about the meeting, specifically? Do you claim if it occurred as alleged it was illegal? Inappropriate? Why?
