Why don’t we know if people have immunity to Covid19 yet?

It’s going on 6-7 months from the first known cases and we still don’t know if people gain immunity from contracting Covid19? I haven’t heard one so called expert tell us definitively that you’re immune to reinfection after contracting the virus.

How difficult is it to determine if people have immunity after having the virus? Can’t the researchers try to reinfect people who recovered 4-5 months ago? We need this answer ASAP because if people are generally immune we need to get on with our lives people, hell, we need to get on with our lives anyway. You can forget about some vaccine that’s going to be ready before the US economy completely collapses.

A monumental act of malfeasance on the part of the CDC/NIH to fail to determine the numbers and extent of people in the US with and without COVID-19 antibodies.

They should have had a damn good estimate at least a month ago.

Early data out of South Korea says that once you get it, you’re good to go.

The people who appeared to be “re-infected” were determined to have had false positives on re-testing.

How can you make a vaccine if you don't even know if infection confers immunity?

No that is the responsibility of the states. The same goes for PPE. This has nothing to do with Trump you cuck.

The CDC/NIH are anti-Trump swamp rats, you pathetic moron.

They are light-years closer to the Chinese dominated WHO than they ever will be to the Trump administration. Pay attention

The Diamond Princess provided the perfect petri dish for a worst case scenario. Over 3700 passengers and crew in tight quarters and a lot of old people. Cruise passengers are sometimes called, "the new weds and the nearly deads."

Everyone on board was tested and 17% tested positive. Nearly 50% had no symptoms but tested positive. 7 old people died. The link below shows the break out of those affected.

In NYC, people below the age of 65 died at a rate of about 10 per 100,000 or 0.0001%, but the Diamond Princess debunked the model projects many weeks ago.

Then Americans need to tell the government to frick off and let’s get this country off it’s back and on it’s feet!

Well Hillary's pee pee dossier and Mueller didn't work, and the impeachment thing just left Quid Pro Joe with egg on his face, so they now champion the Wuhan virus as their great hope.

Any chance you have a link on this? I’ve tried to convince people but would love to have something more concrete to have.

What does any of that have to do with the responsibility of the states?

Just because you have some idiotic notion that the CDC/NIH isn't responsible for antibody testing... does not make that some kind of fact.

It is just you talking out of your arse again.

WTF are you talking about? The FDA authorized public and private labs to make antibody tests. Lots of states have done testing. Nothing to do with CDC/NIH

you are mentally retarded and you apparently hate federalism

just switch your party to socialist cuck

Idiot. The CDC/NIH shut down our entire nation without the slightest idea of:
1) How contagious this virus is (or isn't)
2) How many people had contracted the virus
3) The mortality rate
4) The rate of asymtomatic cases
5) etc

They shot from the hip with no clue of the most important data-point in the formula... the denominator

Just because the states have the right to conduct antibody testing does NOT excuse the NIH/CDC for failing to do their job before putting millions out of work on a hunch.

And I am the farthest thing from a globalist, idiot.

You are sounding more and more like another false-flag shill. Buzz off, jerk

There legit might be one hundred companies and universities offering antibodies tests right now. The short answer is that we haven't quite cracked that nut to the level required. Getting there...
