Because they became "The Man" and are either too dim or dishonest to own it.
They've clapped like seals for anything that slams the perceived "Right Wing", even when not especially witty or even accurate, over and over to the point of comedic atrophy.

This board didn't even know what memes were until 2015.
Up until then it was just "that shite you see on Facebook", now this board embraces them the way an old person discovers a hip term kids have been using for years.

What you posted are cringe memes. In cringe memes, the object is to elicit a cringe of vicarious embarrassment. You accomplished that, but I don't think that's what you were trying to do.
