Why doesn’t Joe lie about packing the court?

Dems are 100% packing the SCOTUS if Joe wins. My question is, Why doesn’t he lie about not doing so? There’s no way his uncertainty on the question hurts less than lying about it.

Because Basement Joe knows he will not in the White House long enough to be the liar. He knows he'll be in the old folks home by then and Dr. Jill will be in the Caribbean spending all his money, as a cougar, stalking young natives guys.

Because if he says he’ll pack it trump will just immediately say; ok I’ll pack it first and they’ll all be forced to go on record against it

No matter what answer he gives it hurts him with a voting block. If he just stays stagnant and lets the media pretend this isn't a thing he's better off than alienating one side or the other

Because it’s a bluff. FDR successfully floated the idea as a negotiating tactic. ACB is a done deal, so there’s nothing left to negotiate. For an issue this significant the concept becomes meaningless ...if the Democrats add seats now, the Republicans must add seats +1 as soon as they regain majority.
