MerriamWebster-
nationalism noun
na·?tion·?al·?ism | \ 'nash-n?-?li-z?m , 'na-sh?-n?-?li-z?m\
Definition of nationalism
1 : loyalty and devotion to a nation
especially : a sense of national consciousness (see CONSCIOUSNESS sense 1c) exalting one nation above all others and placing primary emphasis on promotion of its culture and interests as opposed to those of other nations or supranational groups

Then they use it in a sentence:
-Intense nationalism was one of the causes of the war.

And again, more examples in the same entry
-The war was caused by nationalism and greed.
-Nazism's almost epic nationalism appealed to downtrodden Germans still suffering the humiliation of being defeated in World War I.

Even our dictionaries are political

Be proud of taking dicks up your arse.

Don't be proud of your nation.

Because liberals have come to the conclusion that patriotism is Ray-sisss.

20th century fascists ruined the term.

Let's adhere to patriotism and not nationalism.

Because supporting your nation regardless of the terrible atrocities they commit is wrong.

Because it fits the DemShits narrative. I don’t know how anybody with half a brain would acknowledge that they are a modern day Democrat. Talk about a shite show on steroids. The entire party should just pack it in and call it a day.

Because of academia and the media.

They ultimately want single, socialist global state.

You do realize that this nation has done more "good" and does more than any other nation on this planet right?

Wonder why people on left prefer the term 'globalist".

I care about my nation before worrying about the world. That makes me a nationalist.

Also the term nationalist frightens globalists.

Globalists are bung holes.

Because the Far Left wants to be The Ministry of Truth and thinks word salads are the signifier of intellect...

Because nationalists are patriots.

Libprogs hate themselves and our country. They soothe this self loathing by imagining they are morally superior to the right. Their road to moral superiority includes saving the world. They are globalists. They are emotional wrecks and deluded fools. They are cultists that reject logic in order to worship their political "leaders".

I have always thought the word was a pejorative by definition. That nationalism meant acting in the interest of one's own nation regardless of external consequences. I could be wrong.

I always thought populism was a pejorative also. These words have become much more often used in the national lexicon since Trump. The lines between what is populism/nationalism and what are not have seemed to become difficult to distinguish, or blurred since Trump's presidency.

Sometimes, or even much of the time acting in the national interest and/or doing the popular thing is not only good for self, but is also for the greater good and is the moral thing to do. Confusing or blurred definitions aside, doing the right, or moral thing is what matters.

Globalists have to destroy nationalist sentiment before they can control everyone like they want.

quote:

We figured out a long time ago that it's much easier to control people when we're all watching the same T.V. shows, listening to the same radio stations, going to the same movies, looking at the same billboards, eating the same food, and speaking the same language...

Also when we're using the same money, listening to the same "news", and under the thumb of the same government.

Are you a globalist in favor of one world government? Most nations have committed some kind of atrocity in their history. What "terrible atrocities" has the United States committed? I'll concede slavery and The Trail of Tears, which are relatively minor in scope when compared to events committed by, say, Germany, Japan, The Soviet Union, Spain, Great Britain, China, Turkey...
