Why does anyone care about Afghanistan

When our country here is turning into a hellhole that resembles the turd world ?

In imperialist countries, the conflicts in far-flung places often distract the people from more serious domestic issues. This is intentional. If we're always arguing over wars around the world, we pay no attention to monetary policy, the national debt or other serious issues.

correct
if we can't control our own borders,
how can anyone expect us to control Afganistan?

We are getting educated for what happens here

It’s the fact that we’ve waged a pointless war in that fricking sandbox and spilled the blood of brave Americans for decades that pisses me off
I could not give a frick about Afghanistan
I could not give a frick about Afghanistan

Nothing in and of itself in Afghanistan is special. We should be getting out. The problem is the Biden administration totally fricked up the withdrawal. And now there is a disaster happening. And the world, both our allies and enemies are watching in real time. And both our enemies and allies will base their decisions in the near future on what they’ve seen happening in Afghanistan.
Ask yourself this question. If you were a small country, say South Korea, Taiwan, or Japan and you’ve received for decades on America as your ally. How comfortable do you feel tonight that if trouble comes, you can rely on America to have your back?

We really don't. It's just the inept way the Biden Admin pulled out that left many Afghan allies and Americans in a lot of danger.
Don't ask me what I would have done. IDK because I don't have the on ground intelligence to make those plans/decisions. I can just view the disaster from afar like most of us.

Well we’re on our own here now too the military is soon to be only woke garbage.

Not caring about Afg allows a haven for serious terrorism to take root again. I don’t like it but allowing the country to collapse again is a recipe for bigger problems.

This. Get ready for that multi-trillion dollar "infrastructure" bill to be passed.

Serious terrorism lives in our nations capital in the form of the federal government

If you really want the revolution you keep asking other people to start, there would have to be (at most) a widespread passivity and indifference to it. To obtain that, you need the federal government to lose legitimacy, especially among normies. Talking about Afghanistan helps achieve that. You of all people here know that

I like it. I wouldn’t care if they blew us to kingdom come that would be ironic considering 9/11 was an inside job and we scapegoated them for it…

I don’t, but pissed we spent 3 trillion for absolutely nothing with no accountability. We should be friends of liberty around the world but keepers only of our own.

I served alongside some of those Afghans. I feel bad for them. There is no requirement that patriots not give a damn about other people.

I don't care about that shite hole at all.
I do however care about getting help to those 10,000 citizens that are still there. Get them the frick out now.
