the examples you have given do not focus strictly on race....flawed argument
Are Americans of the same racial minority less-likely to have similar perceived common interests than Americans from the same geographical area?

If you're sent to Washington to represent a geographical area that damn well better be your position. Or is it acceptable to openly represent only a portion of the people residing in that area?

Because, they would argue, the rest of the legislature is, as a practical matter, the “ white caucus”.

Do you?

You support the existence of the Congressional Black Caucus. Would you support the existence of the Congressional White Caucus?

If you do a google image search on black caucus you might just think it's to mean mug everyone

I'd say at least 70% of the images are like that

talk about resting bitch face, WOW! what would happen if Ted Cruz formed a hispanic caucus or Jim Jordon formed a white caucus?

Even that would be fine, if heads didn't explode when white people got together to do the same. Everyone knows the very suggestion would be met with wailing and gnashing of teeth about the new KKK. If it's wrong, it's wrong. For everyone.

That actually exists....just can't have a "white" caucus....that would be racist.

Here's something to ponder for anyone who believes this caucus is anything but racially motivated.

William Jefferson was a distinguished member of the black caucus. When Joesph Cao won Jefferson's seat, representing the same district that Jefferson once represented, the black congressional caucus fought like hell to exclude Cao from their group.

It's all about race and nothing else. Except for their concern about Guam tipping over.

The vast majority of Black and Hispanic Representatives are elected from Districts in which their ethnic group comprises the VAST majority of the voters. One could argue that membership in an ethnicity-based caucus is simply a means of multiplying the ability of such an elected official to further the agenda of the vast majority of the voters in his/her District.

I would have no problem with it, though I would also submit that it is rather unnecessary.

Agreed. Ready to support the Congressional White Caucus now?

Alright. Now tell me how many on the left would share your sentiment. Would there be protests in the street? Why?

It's simply "reverse racism", but if your white you will be called a racist for saying this.
