Why do politicians act like spoiled little nasty brats?

This has been this way since the beginning of time. Not sure how this suprises anyone

Politicians were shooting each other in 1805 and beating each other half to death with canes leading up to the Civil War.

Politicians are just people, which means A LOT of them are assholes.

This should also be exhibit A in "why you shouldn't want a politician running your life" but marxists are too stupid to understand that.

Trump rescued Desantis when his campaign was floundering. Desantis told the people of FL he was committed to be their governor through the completion of his term. It was believed by most Americans who were following the Trump/Desantis relationship that Trump would be the R candidate for the presidency in 2024, many believed Desantis would take the baton in 2028. Someone deviated from their plan and was not honest with the people.

This ^^^ in a nutshell is viewed by Trump and many other Americans as being ungrateful and disloyal. We all know how Trump behaves when he believes he's been disrespected.

Praise people when they can help him, but the first sign that they may actually think for themselves and God forbid think differently than Trump then attack with both barrels.

Trump’s big on loyalty. Take it for what it’s worth.

If not for Trump’s support and endorsement (which DeSantis wanted very badly) he would not be governor of Florida today.

He ran off of Trump’s coattails (his commercials. Build that wall) and got elected.

Now, he’s deciding to sever ties with him and become his opponent.

Trump is reasonably irritated, in my opinion.
