Seems excessive.

A lot of countries have criminal penalties more extreme than our own. Each individual is responsible for obeying the law in any foreign country he or she visits. For example, homosexuality is against the law in countries like Saudi Arabia and Uganda.

This is another situation where certainty is for stupid people. There were antifa people there, but how many and what role they played are undetermined. Besides, I think it is an appropriate response if you truly believe your government is being stolen, although a more appropriate one would have been to be organized and be armed with more than zip ties. I mean, that's kinda how we were born as a nation.

If you can't tell that there is a 2 tier justice system then you are the one with the fricked up brain. We have a VP in office that was bailing out people for doing far worse than anything done by the Jan 6 protestors. We have DA's across the country that did nothing to people that tried to burn down federal and state building with federal employees and police in them.
