Just because someone is against amnesty doesn't meant they don't "embrace" Hispanics.

As I said before, there won't be another First Black President. The First Woman President won't do it for Hillary, because, IMO, people are tired of her.

Honestly, the Republicans are really fricking themselves with the Hispanics. Their values don't align with the democrats, but the Republicans are doing the immigration card and the democrats are playing the "we love the poor" card. That's the only reason why they're there instead of the Republican side. The Republicans need to stop the bullshite and embrace the Hispanic community if they are to survive.

I agree completely. They're also fricking themselves with conservative blacks that hate the social issue policies of the Democratic Party.

gun control
Not a cultural issue. Democrats should've learned that after Colorado.

gay rights
GOP needs to just drop this. It doesn't matter.

climate change
Not as definitive of an issue as Democrats believe.

Democrats in turn are championing a younger, more urbanized, diverse, and secular "Coalition of Transformation" that welcomes the evolution in America's racial composition and cultural mores.
Democrats are also going to start losing the younger generations if they don't embrace spending cuts.

Don't believe everything you read.

Chicken poop analysis, in my opinion. Hispanics are very economically vulnerable, make up the single largest group of uninsured people, and tend to rely on government benefits. And because economic well-being is the single most important factor in voting habits, nothing will change.

It's what the Hispanics believe. They can save the Republican Party if they drop the bullshite against them. Their values completely align, and it's really their only hope for long term survival.

Which ones? Last stat I saw showed that Hispanics utilize "entitlement" programs at quite a clip...

A general Catholic leaning is fine and all, but when dollars are involved, they often win.

The GOP needs to do a much better PR job with this.
Why can't they? And please DO NOT blame the "biased liberal press".

Blacks are not as socially conservative as you think. For example, in 2012, the state of Maryland approved of gay marriage easily. The state is also 25% Black. How do you explain that?

I love how liberals love Mexican immigration, but at the same time decry the downward trend in wages.

Amnesty is not popular in the rust belt.

Oh Lord, that's a HUGE hypothetical. I think Rand could win. But, he's never going to get the nomination. So there's that.

The only positives that will come from the amnesty issues are political party related.

If that is what you want, more power to you. Just be prepared for the negatives.

True statement, but if I were in charge of the Republican Party's PR, I'd almost solely target the Hispanics.

Their religious beliefs for starters. If they were middle class white people, no fricking way would they be democrats as a whole with their values.

George Bush pulled in like 50% of the Mexican vote in 2004, against a CATHOLIC. I don't know how the hell that happened.

What happens if the traditionally hard working, family oriented, catholic hispanics start Identifying with Conservatives?
