I’ve been really saddened and very disappointed to see such negative responses here, on this particular conservative site, to privatizing the wall vs allowing government to pillage our tax dollars trying to build it
My guess is this isn’t getting approved in DC partially because it would show how wasteful and incompetent politicians are if Trump did this with such little money and there’s no money in it for the politicians either

Pull the WALL back to the private property and build WALL continuously on the private property! It’s not that complicated at all
Landowners get a free WALL and suddenly have their property secured. EVERY landowner would agree to have free WALL/fence besides a barbed wire insecure fence
Trump could secure all border towns with border patrol or however he wishes

Why would a landowner that wants the wall take you to court? I think a lot of yall are missing the point. The point is if we raise enough money to build the wall, we don't need gov't permission to build it on private land. Only the landowners permission.
