re: Why are "they" so obsessed with mentions of 'FLAT EARTH'? Just a silly "CT", right?

Yes, land surveyors have to consider curvature of the Earth when conducting large scale land surveys. Largest one I ever did was a water line that was over 100 miles long.

So you're telling me water is NOT "Flat" and "LEVEL"??

Geez...

This is because the shape of the Earth is constantly changing. Again, surveyors have to account for this too. They put permanent GPS stations on major mountains and all over the place really to monitor these changes so they can continually refine their calculations to stay as accurate as possible. But it is always changing. Again, this is to be expected if you live on a rotating sphere with tectonic plates. Constant state of flux. We see it in the surveying industry.

If it was as the retard brigade suggests we wouldn't see any of those changes.

What the frick are you even talking about? I'm telling you that we engineered a 100 mile waterline and every property along the route had to be surveyed.

It has not been explained to me why I can see a pen tip placed two inches above a sheet of paper and line of sight does not interfere.

Nothing else need be said other than there are particles that eventually obstruct your view at distance on this Earth and that your eyesight is limited.

Are you asking why you can see something 2 inches away but not something that is 1000s of miles?
Is that really what you're asking??

Flying is a PRACTICAL exercise that is literally life & death.

(So what of the official manuals that ADMIT "ASSUME FLAT, NON_ROTATING EARTH"?? What say YOU?)

Shut the frick up, dumb arse. If I had a frickin dollar for every time one of you dipshit lawyers made a dishonest statement on here I wouldn't have to work in any damn industry.

I'm extremely skeptical you can even define the mathematical basis of Earth's curvature.

Ditto. Right back at you.

Is water level?

. And what sort of evidence would satisfy you?

I am open to all evidence that comes first hand. You made it sound like you could just go to your filing cabinet at home and plop out some proof where you've accounted for the Earth's curvature whilst surveying.
Now it appears you're referring me to Google and are otherwise full of shite. I know what Google says. I was curious as to the specific proof you said earlier that surveyors see.

You can't even grasp what I told you. I said we engineered a water line. Was the route level? No, it ran through the mountains and was a gravity fed system for the entire length. The only pump was at the lake where they pumped it up the hill.

I don't even know what the hell you're talking about whether water is "level" or not. It isn't the point.

Nope. You keep your same dance going.

There is no line of sight limitations on a flat plane. Do you agree?? Yet you keep using “line of sight”.

There is no line of sight limitations on a flat plane when you have a bright object well above the flat plane. You can see it from any point. Any point.

But eyesight!! Again. Magnification is available. It doesn’t have to be from your edges.. it can be the very northern portions of the Southern Hemisphere.

You keep using “line of sight” with stars and it is actually destroying your argument. There is zero. None. Zilch. line of sight limitations on a point well above a flat plane. None. No further discussion available.

Fascinating. Can you do it for us here? Without quoting Wikipedia? Maybe put it in layman's terms for those of us that didn't graduate with a degree in physics as you must have.

if you do not, the math begins to place you at two separate points the farther away from each other the farther you get from the survey points.

You're still not able to grasp / visualize the concept of perspective + distance.

Now if you want to "do the "math", try calculating the points on Crepuscular Rays.

Where does the calculation lead you? (not a trick question; just check it out. You will be surprised -- maybe even shocked at the outcome.)
