You assume poor people want handouts funneled through a corrupt government…. Poor Americans don’t benefit regardless, but less is going to be wasted on foreign people.
I upvoted this comment simply for not using “poors”.

I gleaned this jewel from a CNBC article on how the tax cuts and in particular the $2,000 child tax credit favors the rich.
So the group with the “ultimate” tax credit are getting screwed because they can’t claim the $2,000? Imagine being an adult financial journalist and thinking this way.
You can’t make this shite up but it’s an insight into OPs thought process (or lack thereof).

However, the plan does “nothing for the 17 million children that are left out of the current $2,000 credit,” Kris Cox, director of federal tax policy with the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities’ federal fiscal policy division, previously told CNBC. The reason is that very low-income families with kids typically don’t owe federal taxes, which means they can’t claim the full child tax credit.

The poors don’t pay into the system to begin with.
they also dont realize they will pay for the debt that comes with tax cuts and spending deficits with inflation.
The poors are populist, and have no clue whats in their best interest.

Bill gates has still done more for humanity than your Marxist heroes ever will, and I cant stand the guy.
Its hilarous how the little people hate those who built this country. America has always been led by a very small group of brilliant minds, and not the riff raff who constantly try to tear them down.
Low class populism is a cancer.

It’s ridiculous.. I work with some who make way less than me … yet they’re for everything that benefits people more financially well-off than themselves…
Because they understand who writes their checks.
When you and your "workers" build something great, get back to me..

I never understood why the poor support tax cuts for the rich,
You are a complete moron. “Poors” don’t pay taxes. Why would anyone want the corrupt, bloated government to take more money away from private hands?
Government does nothing with capital but waste it. Private investment runs the world.

Most high achievers are psychopaths, like Gates.

Cogs in the machine. Its the "idea people" and the moneyed people who move the world. Not the worker.

The wealthy get a large share of the cuts like always.
Doesn't that make sense, since they pay the most anyways? A similar cut across all people would naturally make their savings higher than yours

Yep.
I get a laugh at people who think the rich are abusing the system, when its the rich who are paying for the system.
Class warfare is a fatal disease of the poor that ensures they will always be poor.

Because we work for wealthy corporations. When the 2017 tax cuts were passed, my employer paid fewer taxes and I got a raise for the first time in 10 years. What is good for the company is also good for me.

I cannot grass why yall care about richer people's taxes. They don't pay much anyway because their money allows them to hire the best tax attorneys, cpa's, etc...whi structure their wealth in ways that reduce taxes to minimums anyway.
Put a consumption tax on everything and the playing field would be leveled for all.

Government indeed made investment in China easy. Why would you want to give government more money to promote that agenda? Money is never, ever more useful on the hands of any government.

Are you the guy that is trying to save up $3,500 for a side by side?
If so, maybe it’s best for you to sit this one out.
