I'm watching Tucker and he's talking with Rubio about China's increasing threat to US economic superiority and I'm just shaking my damn head listening to this BS. All of a sudden we're worried about the brazen theft and sharing of US intellectual secrets and advanced industrial/manufacturing technology with China...pffft.

I remember way back in the 90's when Slick was selling us out to the Chicoms and I'm not putting this all on Slick's back but he was POTUS. The biggest reason this looming shite storm of Chinese economic domination is barreling towards us is because of the relationship between our large corporations, their lobbyists and our bought and paid for politicians.

Come on man, any semi intelligent American who was paying attention back in the 90's, that had a smidgen of electrical activity coursing through their brain knew where this crapola was leading. So here we are today trying to put the Chinese economic genie back in the bottle or at least contain it and now we're supposed to get our hackles up and fight tooth and nail against a problem we created over the span of several decades.

I'm sick of these politicians who were complicit in creating these problems who later want to come before the American people and tell us how much of a existential threat we're facing from China, how much trouble we're in and how we need to stand up to this serious challenge to American superiority.

It's kinda like the ongoing immigration mess, ongoing for like 50 fricking years and the politicians that have allowed this BS to continue keep getting elected and keep getting exorbitantly rich by becoming Swampers in good standing!

The 1st step to disrupting the status qou was sending Trump straight into the belly of the Swamp Beast.

Step 2 is.....,

CONGRESSIONAL TERM LIMITS AND STRICT LOBBY REFORM YALL!!!!!!!

No environmental regulations or extremely lax regulations drew US corporations to China like flies to fresh dog shite! Couple that with cheap labor and dem baws were cha-chinging like a mutha...., along with the politicians that help facilitate the outsourcing regulations to allow this madness to take place.

The sharing of technology in an iPhone is one thing, but I'm more concerned about their very successful spying apparatus that routinely steals classified government technologies. They built their military off our stolen tech. And no one seems to bat an eye at it.

They're already ahead of you:

quote:

In September 2016, China's cancelled more than 103 under-construction and planned coal-fired power plants, a total of 120 gigawatt hours (GWh) of capacity. In March this year, premier Li Keqiang announced that an additional 50GWh would be shut down or postponed. The coal power stopped in China so far is equivalent to the combined coal power capacity of the UK and Spain. China's era of one coal-fired station a week is over.

quote:

China is now the world's largest backer of green energy, accounting for 17% of global investment in the sector. According to Greenpeace, it installed an average of more than one wind turbine every hour of every day in 2015.

It also covered the equivalent of one soccer field with solar panels every hour, action that may allow China to meet its 2020 goals for solar installation two years ahead of schedule. By 2030 it is hoped that cleaner energy will help reduce China's CO2 emissions by 54%from 2010 levels.

This is good news because the inescapable fact is that efforts to mitigate climate change are doomed to fail if the Chinese do not get on board. Compared with other countries, China still has a long way to go. Britain, for instance, recently managed a day without coal for the first time in more than 130 years, while other countries have drastically cut their carbon footprint.

When it comes to electric vehicles (EVs), China might just have the upper hand, with domestic carmakers showcasing seven out of 10 new energy vehicles at this year’s Beijing Auto Show.

A total of 1,022 models are on display at this year’s event. Of that number, 174 are new energy vehicles including 124 made by Chinese companies.

Foreign carmakers could tip their future China plans this week

Last year, 777,000 EVs were sold in China, up 53 per cent compared to 2016, so that is about 2.7 per cent of overall sales of 28,879,000 units sold in 2017, according to China Association Of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).

Dear TD

To make term limits of congress we need a constitutional amendment. The Supremes ruled against Oregon 5 to 4.
One damn justice decided states could not decide for themselves.

China launched nearly 8,000 water clean-up projects in the first half of 2017 with projected total investment of 667.4 billion yuan ($100 billion), the environment ministry said on Thursday.

The projects were devised as part of a 2015 action plan to treat and prevent water pollution, and cover 325 contaminated groundwater sites across the country, the Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) said in a notice.

A total of 343 contaminated sites had been identified, meaning that 95 percent had drawn up plans to bring water quality up to required standards, it said.

China is going to be the biggest economic, geopolitical and military threat to us soon if they're not that already.

Russia is just a giant gas station masquerading as a country.

China steals hundreds of billions of dollars a year in american intellectual property and it's an absolute tragedy that is not a national outrage in America.

Sooner or later, we are going to have to hold them accountable for this.

It would go a long way in making things less unfair if we stopped letting them brazenly steal trade secrets, rip off IP's, and ignore copyright.

Nothing will change regarding congressional term limits and strict lobby reform until we the people demand it...., 8 years is enough for the POTUS, 12 years should be enough for Congress!

That’s true but the irony is our government/Corporatocracy has allowed this shite to go down and now we’re all supposed to rally around Swampers with a pocket full of shells like Bulls on Parade!

So what exactly are you saying? That because we fricked up our relationship with china in the 90s that we should continue fricking up our relationship today?

A lot of assholes are responsible for the american/chinese relationship today, and some of them are still in power. But we sure as shite don’t want to downplay the threat that they pose today simply because some fools downplayed their threat in the past. Their gross GDP will pass ours soon, their one belt one road initiative will build their geopolitical alliances, and they are on the verge of implementing a citizen score system which is ripe for abuse and radicalization.

They are unquestionably a threat to american security. Regardless of how we got here, we sure as shite better be aware of it now or we’ll be regretting it soon.

Did you read my post? I said I’m sick of these politicians making stupendous messes and then coming to the American people blowing a Rams horn warning us of the mess they willfully created.
