If I were in charge of PR for the Kurds, the first thing I'd do is come up with a stronger name for my group. For instance if they have any historical connection to the ancient Hittites, start calling yourself that.

A lot of people who don't understand International Relations or Geopolitics in this thread ... shocker.
Do you really want Russia to have more influence in Turkey and Syria, and Iran have more influence in Iraq, than they already do?
I assure you supporting Kurdish independence is wholly detrimental to our interests in the region, which sucks because they are good people and good fighters.
