They probably have gotten it too. The only difference is they are not running to the doc-in-the-box to wait for 3 hours to have a test confirm what they may already know. They have headache. Perhaps some congestion. But they are just going to do what they always have done when those symptoms have presented themselves. Treat the symptoms with OTC medicine and move on.

One of my co-workers told me he and his family were shocked to have tested positive for it recently because they were all vaccinated and boosted. He then opined that maybe the vaccine was just more like a flu shot. I channeled my inner John McClane: "Welcome to the party, pal." This is an otherwise very intelligent person too. Unfortunately, the ENTIRETY of his information comes from the CBS nightly news, 60 minutes, yahoo.com, and the Howard Stern show. Thus, the "shock" that you could still get covid despite being triple vaxxed.

People like him and Whoopi Goldberg are being blindsided by reality because the mediums that provide them with their information are grossly misleading them.

I work with a couple of unvaxxed people who are out with covid right now and a third waiting on his test results.

You get the new covid, and you get the new covid, everyone gets the new covid !
