"Harm reduction" programs replacing arrest/incarceration with freebies (like free, clean needles which acts as an enabler) and raising the max misdemeanor theft limit to $950 have created this environment.

The equal to their beliefs if for a business to run a test case on a focus group (San Francisco, Portland, Chicago, New Orleans, Jackson, MS). The focus group fails in a grand fashion.

Then they say… “well… it will work on a grand scale”. Instead of trashing the failed experiment… they soldier on. Then the product fails. And they blame the consumer.

Doesn’t matter if it’s a simple failed marketing campaign or running the US. They load up their proven failures and move on.
