We've had large companies announcing their plans to build and hire in Louisiana as well. I'm not a huge fan of his, but he hasn't done "nothing."
We have to see dirt moving. Bobby J had these”big announcements” like Elo and others that turned out to be pipe dreams and never materialized fully.
When those deals go south, sometimes the state is left holding the bag when the corpse of a company is bankrupt and has no money. or the state pours money into studies for infrastructure to build surrounding that mega project then the company pulls out. The only ones who profit are the engineering firms woo perform these studies, and the LEDA officials who get to wine and dine these companies on the state’s dime and travel to the ends of the earth while “searching” for the next new company to hoar out the state to in tax incentives while ignoring local small businesses.

I'm still questioning why Senator John Kennedy refused to run...he had been positioning himself for a long time before seemingly bowing out (giving Landry a lane).
Because Kennedy said an awful lot about what he could and would do as Governor, and most of it was impossible. Not politically impossible, actually literally impossible. If he ran for Governor he’d have a lot of accountability, and he would not be able to deliver on many of his promises.

I would never willingly vote for another Democrat (I haven't done sone since 2008) but I'd accidentally vote for JBE over willingly voting for Jeff Landry in a heartbeat
Not sure I get this.
As Gov, JBE: raised your taxes, oversaw a Louisiana economy that lagged far behind the South’s avg, signed soft on crime criminal justice reform, completely ignored the crime running rampant in New Orleans, overreached with his draconian COVID shutdowns and mask mandates, ballooned Medicaid in Louisiana, vetoed tort reform bills 2x…
JBE was awful for Louisiana. I’m not a big Landry fan myself, but I’m willing to give him time. Troop Nola has been a tremendously positive impact for Nola and we’re seeing economic development in Louisiana that under JBE, we saw go to TX, MS, and AL instead.

We are a Banana Republic!
The ghost of Huey Long seems to never go away!
Landry is a Charlatan Car Salesman!
POS, fast talking RINO that sells his vote!
There is no hope for the state politics, and screw Landry!

JbEdwards wasn't really all that bad, if we're being honest, he was like an old Dixie democrat
