Regardless, Noles isn’t wrong about Donald’s.

Its always great when the conservatives of the board use their go to news sources like yahoo, cnn etc to get the talking points

Correct
Him being from up here doesn't help at all even with the name recognition.

You don’t live here, so when you speak with such certainty about stuff that 1) you don’t know or 2) is simplly factually incorrect you become the textbook definition of an ignorant person.

I'm guessing whoever DeSantis throws his endorsement to will get elected. I think Gaetz would do a good job. I know some people don't like him. He hammers the left endlessly. He would probably do more to drive more leftists out of FL than anyone else. I think he would go HAM on the university system, and extend what DeSantis has done there. That's a good thing. Donalds is a smart guy but for some reason I see him going after Rubio's senate seat in the 2028 election.

I doubt he could get elected. He's put a lot of effort into throwing red meat to his district, which is fine, but it doesn't exactly set you up for success if you want to move to Tallahassee. I suspect Gaetz is sharp enough to know that, which tells me he probably isn't interested.
His young career is setting up like Kevin McCarthy's, which means being nice and comfy collecting a check, benefits, and lobbyist lunches in D.C. He can continue on his current path and keep getting re-elected the next several decades without much effort.
I'm not sure he risks that with trying to become Governor of a state. At that point, if elected, you have to actually do something more than provide soundbites.

His district is the reddest of the red, and he is supported by most of the kingmakers here in Pensacola so he is insulated during the primaries.
Heck, does that even matter now? He's insulated because he delivers red meat to a red meat district, and it's hard as hell to unseat an incumbent. Even if they turned on him I think he'd be safe unless/until he just stomped on his own dick with cleats.

I can promise you, he is liked in Florida. We prefer MAGA types over pussy politicians.

He's black. If it weren't for that he'd be in the Gaetz category. People don't like to admit that they have been brainwashed to actually see color of peoples skin. They fawn over the ones that stick out. It really is a crazy thing to watch.

Jimmy Patronis current CFO from Bay County has the name recognition statewide. He may throw his hat in the ring.

Maybe in his home district but not statewide.
I think Florida elects a Democrat for its next governor, like in the old days with Lawton Chiles and Bob Graham, who both left office with high approval ratings

Does Gaetz have a want or even experience running some kind of major org?
I agree with others who think gaetz is more set up for congress/senate, so if Rubio's spot is open in 28 a gaetz/Donald's primary sounds more feasible.
