Republicans. Diehard, aggressive republicans.

If you supported those, you cannot in your right mind criticize the Mueller investigation for firing diehard, anti-Trump democrats. The Republicans that investigated Hillary still want to, and are still trying to.

If she came out and said she wanted only people who didn’t hate her investigating her, the PoliBoard would laugh for days.

Oh, the investigation where the suspect with=held information and the country let her get away with it.

Are you really using that whore as analogy to the current situation?

Yeah, that's why I don't concern myself with any of these congressional investigations. They're nothing more than political grandstanding that results in absolutely nothing. It's just a game to make it appear as if people in DC are accountable.

I was referring to congressional Republicans, but Comey was also a Republican, and widely praised here just before the election.

An independent counsel appointed "Republicans. Diehard, aggressive republicans?"

Oh, no. That's right. It was the GOP chairmen of House and Senate committees with their GOP staffs that conducted those CONGRESSIONAL investigations.

That is far different from a so-called INDEPENDENT counsel.

What you just said is incoherent nonsense.
As per usual we are all now dumber for having read one of your posts!

Well, the Repubs did have a majority so it stands to reason...however, you're comparing apples and oranges. Since the DOJ was wholly in the tank for Obama and Hillary, nothing became of those investigations and no Special Prosecutor was appointed.

Eleven hours in front of Congress and the nation, being grilled, and a Republican Congress coming up with nothing doesn’t matter?

There are plenty of ways Hillary could have been caught if she were guilty of anything.

None have turned up anything, and it is absolutely not for a lack of trying.

Edit: She is the greatest mastermind in history, and should lead the country based solely on how kickass that is, or she’s entirely innocent, and we wasted a massive amount of time trying to convict her, or she committed crimes and the Republican Congress, and now full government, with Trump in charge and with pledges to lock her up, can’t do it.

This. And during the email investigation, the FBI was absolutely poisoned with Obama era lackeys. Comey and McCabe being at the top of the list.

This was a short sighted thread.

There is a difference between only people who don’t hate her and not wanting only people that do hate her.

Who is calling for a trump-ally only committee? People are just against a Hillary-ally only committe, as both are equally ridiculous

No one with an ounce of sense pays any attention to Congressional investigations. Example, most people on the poliboard pay attention to Congressional investigations.

Congress can very barely do the basic shite it's constitutionally mandated to do. And I mean very barely. And this goes back to the founding of the Republic.

Asking them to run a criminal probe is like asking a whore to run a monastery (and no, I didn't mean convent).

And just as many Democrats (minus one).

That's the way congressional investigative committees are run. It usually bipartisan unlike the Mueller investigation which is completely filled with Clinton hacks.

These investigations are easy to navigate. All you need are these phrases:

I don't recall
I can't remember the exact details
I can't comment due to the ongoing investigation
I don't have the exact figures
I'll have to find that out for you
It's hard to say for sure without the exact figures
It's classified

Right. They are dog and pony shows. All bullshite. Nothing...absolutely nothing has come out of a congressional investigation. They are a big waste of time.
