The thread here is BS...it should read who MURDERED Ashli Babbitt in a cold blooded ambush of an unarmed protester.
Had this been a police shooting in a riot somewhere of a looter or any other circumstance the shooter would have been charged with murder.
It was FIRST DEGREE MURDER...clearly premeditated and in no way justifiable.. I hope the SOB that murdered the woman faces justice.

It certainly could be. A lot of those so called Trump supporters were paid. Some were spotted at BLM rallies.

You can say what you want about Ashli Babbitt. Was she a crazy conspiracy theorist? Probably. Was she acting in a way that was illegal and out of line? Definitely. Did she deserve to take a bullet in the chest for it? Absolutely not. She was an unarmed woman who was killed by police without so much as a warning.
I disagree with little of your comments and agree with much of what you say.
I don’t know enough about Ashli Babbitt’s belief system to deem her “a crazy conspiracy theorist.” If she believed the Feral Government of the United States is involved in a massive conspiracy against the American people, she made a totally lucid and rational assessment of the current crisis.
My only quibble there would be how best to address that reality. I understand and applaud lawful protesting and I certainly understand the seething anger Trump’s supporters must be experiencing.
Yet no politician in Washington is worth going to jail over — much less risking bodily harm. What exactly were they fighting for?
To keep Mitch McConnell as Senate Majority leader? Sorry but I’m going to sit that one out: fighting to reclaim the Potomac Cesspool is the ultimate exercise in the fallacy of sunken costs.

Trump supporters had no reason to interfere with the certification effort. Saying that was their intent is speculative at best and only supports the “Big Lie” of an insurrection, that only helps those buffoons in our congress that want to hold onto power against the wishes of “We the People “!
