re: Who is the US killing in its boat attacks? Hegseth won't say, and lawmakers want answers.

The repatriated survivors raised a new legal question: if the U.S. had enough evidence to attack their boat, why wasn't that evidence sufficient to try them in an American court?
Exactly.

This is why Desantis never got out of the primaries
He would have been staffed with RINOs link Bunk, whose every response would have been "We really shouldnt do anything like that:"

You ever heard of a motion to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction? How much fun do you think a lawyer would have in an American court? Considering the fact that this is out in international waters/territory. And before the you say it, we’re talking about jurisdiction of American courts……which isn’t quite the same “venue” and thus aren’t quite the same “rules” as a given country considers while facing/addressing issues on the high seas. Baw.

The enemy of the people. The collaborators may be next?

He took one look at TDPT and realized the sorts of folks who were knighting for him and said, “Naw, this ain’t gonna work.”

Obviously not. They are supplying a need of the people.
Without the demand, the supply is worthless.

There is zero evidence that any of the boats carried fentanyl...
You don't know that. You assume this.
What type of evidence would satify your doubt?
Surely you don't expect the military and/or the IC to publicly expose this information. To do so would compromise whatever means, methods, or undercover sources being used to make the determination!

Its common sense, something most MAGA hardcore fans do not have.
If it were drugs, Venezuela would NOT be the target. They are not a primary supplier.

If I’m to take you seriously, even if demand is driving supply, there is a lot of collateral damage from the suppliers’ dealers in the US.
Innocent people are killed and destroyed by the illegal gang members distributing the drugs from ancillary crimes.
I hope you’re not a potential collaborator.

No, the collateral damage comes from the demand of drugs by American citizens.

I doubt anyone would disagree with your statement, but that doesn't dismiss the other half of the problem, which is the supply. The supply side also needs to be dealt with.
Besides, as I've said before, these actions are more about making a statement and exerting our power in our own hemisphere to improve security.
The Venezuelan government not only is a international player in the drug trade, but they also are friendly with Islamic terrorists. Google Margarita Island and get back with me....

We've been at war with the supply side for decades.
Go look at our prisons. There is a never ending supply when the money is there.
