Solid breakdown.
Unfortunately, I really don’t see one who encompasses everything that Rush had going for him, including his humor.
Honestly, I think Steyn and Tom Herman come the closest of all. I haven’t heard him much, but I think Doug Urbanski did a good job when I’ve heard him (although I think he’s been very limited in his fill ins.)

Yeah, Rush Limbaugh was lightening caught in a bottle. Much like Donald Trump, he's one of a kind, once in a lifetime individual.

I can't think of anyone that has all the tools that Rush had. He's irreplaceable. Levin is as smart, but has that voice that grates on the nerves. Bongino doesn't have the gravitas as much as I love him. Mark Steyn is very good but comes off as aloof. Tucker Carlsen is very good but he's got libertarian leanings that won't reach all of Rush's audience. Ben Shapiro is probably smarter, but he's got too much ego and seems to love taking on a devils advocate approach out of boredom. Hannity couldn't hold Rush's jock.
There's really not another Rush. And there won't be. I'd say Tucker Carlsen is probably the front runner, but he'll have to leave Fox to do it and then he's going to have to really go after it without stepping on a land mine. It's harder these days than it was when Rush was building his empire. That's by design and now that they have all the power, they're going to be going after everyone that looks like he might be reaching for that crown.

No one. Not even possible.

Yeah just like Carson and late night. There will be pretenders to the throne, but none will ever be near the level of the King of conservative radio.

I'd love if Tom Woods somehow got Rush's following too.

He is very gifted but he just doesn't have the voice for radio. Also he is more of a thinker for analytics. He is better at being interviewed than being an interviewer.

Mark Steyn is the smartest one of the bunch, is well spoken, a real intellectual, and absolutely loathes socialism. Also, he has an axe to grind concerning censorship going back to his National Review days.

No one can replace him especially how good he was at trolling the libs.

This would probably be my choice of the people we’re all familiar with. I’m sure there’s someone else out there, but that’s more of a needle in the haystack.
Steyn has a similar sense of subtle, off the cuff humor along with the smarts and relatability (IMO).

There is no "next Rush" because he was so one-of-a-kind and irreplaceable. The dude oozed confidence and backed it up with informed opinions that were right a majority of the time. His access to Washington insiders was also unparalleled. He was SO plugged in it isn't even funny. You can't just replace him like you would an All-SEC running back.

Who is the next Rush?
Donald Trump would be the best fit. That way he has platform from which he can create and run all his conspiracy theories.....and you baws can lap it up from 11 AM - 2 PM every weekday.
That way he can talk rot all day and not be held accountable...sounds like a job just suited for The Donald.
Oh! and radio gig will pay him well enough for Melania to buy her designer dresses. And Ivanka, Jared, Eric, Don Jr., Lara and Kimberly can all call in to "Emperor Donald I of America's" show.
