1975.
Ogump. Put Bush's civil liberties abuses on steroids, continued overseas adventurism, massive deficits, Obamacare, crony capitalism, the spendulus package, declining middle class wages, shrinking labor force.

It depends on what you mean by "worst." If you mean ineffectual, it would be Ford or Carter. If you mean criminally minded and devious, it would be Nixon or Obama. If you mean intellectually challenged, it would be Reagan or W. If you mean morally bankrupt, that's Billy Jeff or Kennedy. If you mean pure evil, that's LBJ.

Without a doubt it is Obama...he passed Carter for first place early in his first term. (1963)

GWB.
I actually supported him in both his elections too.
I was wrong and have no problem admitting it.

At least you're man enough to admit it.

Can y'all believe that we've had 16 years of Bush and Obama? Holy shite.

1- Barack Hussein Obama -
2- Lyndon B. Johnson - handling of Vietnam and the War on Poverty
3- Richard M. Nixon - crook and national embarrassment, but he did bring the troops home
4- Jimmy Carter - just inept and another national embarrassment
4b- Gerald Ford - did nothing other than Pardon Nixon
5- George W Bush - patriot, but then came the Patriot Act
6- JFK - unsure how he would have finished re: Vietnam, integration, but he was strong and pro-America
7- Bill Clinton - he worked with the opposition and some good things happened, but if Congress had been majority Dem we'd have been saddled with Hillarycare
8- George HW Bush
9- Ronald Reagan
Born 1951. Too young to recall Truman or Eisenhower, but I remember the parents liked Ike. A lot.
Note: With a little research I might switch numbers 3 thru 8 around a bit, but #1 worst would still be Obama, #2 would be LBJ, and best would still be Reagan.

They've progressively gotten worse.

When a candidate for public office faces the voters he does not face men of sense; he faces a mob of men whose chief distinguishing mark is the fact that they are quite incapable of weighing ideas, or even of comprehending any save the most elemental — men whose whole thinking is done in terms of emotion, and whose dominant emotion is dread of what they cannot understand.
So confronted, the candidate must either bark with the pack or be lost... All the odds are on the man who is, intrinsically, the most devious and mediocre — the man who can most adeptly disperse the notion that his mind is a virtual vacuum. The Presidency tends, year by year, to go to such men.
As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

The 1980s house democrats were the biggest spenders in American history. Everything you chided reagan for in your above post (federal hiring, SS, medicaid, etc) is the result of Tip Oneill.
And he had a Republican senate half the time.
That was a time when both parties had moderates. The blue dog Dems from the South and the New England rinos. There was compromise. But you can't give all the credit to RR for successes and blame Dems for bad.
Today, compromise doesn't exist and you guys blame EVERYTHING on Obama, including the deficits. He can't spend a dime without the Rep House. And nothing gets passed but it's a Obama's fault.
And if you think a Rep Sen will change things, you're in for a surprise. Great example is Obama's pick for surgeon general. One year and nothing has been done. Ted Cruz says Obama should pick a man from the medical field instead. The dude teaches at a medical school.

Obamacare passed, did it not?

I would have said GWB after the invasion of Iraq and how he handled Katrina. But, then we have had Obama and he is the worst that I have ever seen from a competency aspect. He does not act as the President of the United States. He acts as a partisan operative and is not that effective at that.
Very poor leadership.

Hmmm, wasn't it you liberals bitching that if the budget ceiling wasn't raised that the country would crumble?
Wasn't it your master who implemented his make it hurt docterine? You know, closing national parks and monuments with zero staffing and blaming it on the Republicans for not raising the debt ceiling?
STFU on the economy and deficits. This is 100% a Democrat economy and the failures show it. You only cry now because people are realizing they don't like a Democrat economy, and tax and spend is a failed policy.

Obama by 10,000 miles. I'd put him up there for contention as worst of all time.

Do you mean that you wish his opponent had been elected in either of those elections?
GWB still far superior to either alternative. Thank GOD we escaped algore.
