Probably this part - "Nobody should, but if the Catholics want to, that's their business."
I wouldn't describe it as hatred but maybe something like aggressively dismissive of someone else's Christian faith.

Backslid Baptist here. Never heard sideways talk about Catholics when I went to church, although I’ve done plenty of it as an adult. The one that grinds my gears the most is calling everyone and Uncle Bob “Father” when the Bible explicitly says call no man father, except for God. Still can’t get around that, but never thought Catholics weren’t Christians.
