You likely posted this with a drink in hand. Drugs bad, alcohol good. Which has killed more people and caused more suffering again? What about pot? Is it bad in the illegal states but good in the legal ones? Is good or bad only determined by legality or are dumb arse individual opinions relevant also?

The initial use is a choice. Absolutely. But, once you're addicted, it's over.
There's a reason addicts can't easily quit drinking, smoking, and using drugs. Their brains actually think it will die without the extra dopamine.
