I think if you split the words apart, there is nothing wrong with it. Unfortunately, combining them means, explitely or implicitly, that you support your nation being represented entirely by white people. I am a nationalist who happens to be white, but I would cringe and fight if anyone ever called me a white nationalist because I support a diverse strong America.
