I know I mention Dan Bogino lots, but he makes good points.
He said a while back that we shouldn't let the left constantly change the meaning of words and we should simply not follow along.
He gave an example about how certain words like "infested" are now considered racist simply because the left says so. And a word that is today acceptable, is tomorrow, a word that can get you labeled a racist.
He also mentioned the Betsy Ross flag.
One day it's a symbol associated with our founding, then some leftist decides it's a symbol or racism, and we are now expected to follow. Just simply refuse to follow!

They are basically using double-speak to paint him as a racist. They are using the term to describe nationalists, which it's probably fair to say Trump is one, and then inferring because he's white, and according to them has said racists things (he hasn't), he must be a white nationalist.

When you put race in front of anything it is a racial term. It would be better for everyone is we just used nationalist if thats how you define yourself.

Trump promotes MAGA. MAGA is a nationalist concept. Trump is white. Therefore Trump is a white nationalist. But White nationalist is a term descriptive of members of the Aryan Nations, therefore Trump is a racist.
