I’m talking about doctors like yourself. People who should know better. My brother - PhD in medical physics - much like you, he simply refused to believe his industry, full of all these super dooper smart people, could be so bent/naive.

No, it wasn’t about knowing the truth. It was the opposite, actually. I knew everyone lacked the whole truth, but some had part of it.

The virologists, epidemiologists, and public health experts and other relevant parts of the world health community. They got a lot wrong and a lot right. Don’t misunderstand, I expected problems, even bad ones. It was a pandemic with a novel virus and it hadn’t been done on a large scale.

Example - he was unaware of the death certificate matching program. Naively believed his industry wouldn’t play games like that. Refused to believe the CDC would allow (let alone require) that bureaucrats overrule MDs and MEs on cause of death, or that MDs/MEs would send for it.

He also believed the medical industry (broadly) was far more virtuous than it is.

To his credit, he knew from the start how insane/ineffective lockdowns would be. He was good with the first 15 days because he thought it would help hospitals prepare, but beyond that he knew they were nothing short of retarded.

Weird stat to trot out considering demons are specifically referenced in the Bible, which a majority of people still believe is the true word of God.

I would have gone with: a third of the country still believes Biden is doing a good job.

A monkey with a Jump To Conclusions mat could have done as well as the virologists and epidemiologists as a whole. And public health experts?
