They purposely nuked US and western society (the pandemic farce) SOLELY to regain power by any means necessary with the SOLE objective to never allow Trump, or anyone like him, to be president ever again. If that meant destroying lives in the processes, so be it. They didn't care.
They now see all of their efforts go for naught. In fact, they have turned away more people from their party than they brought in. But maybe more than ever, they are terrified personally of the thought of a final term President with an ego the size of (maybe Greenland) and a burning desire for retribution in response to the Democrats LITERALLY tying to destroy him.
They took a swing, but didn't get a knockout. Now they are left stunned worried that the counter punch could be YUGE.
