I would bet the ranch this story changes on Monday. I doubt very seriously if Trump backs down. If the SECNAV doesn't like it, then quit. He could be easily replaced.

Maybe this is CPO Gallagher's "impeachment" trial? That is, all the evidence will be introduced this time and not just what the original court martial produced. And Trump knows it.
