I can't really believe I am posting this, but the harsh reality is that South Africa was better off under Dutch rule.

I am aware of several farmers that have let go most of their current help and are hiring the newly arriving S Afrikaaners. They have told me it has been a godsend to have them come aboard in their operations. It’s a win win for both parties. I am sure they will find a welcoming environment here.

What makes Afrikaaners more 'like minded' than a Mexican family? Neither speak English as their first language, both are Christian, both value hard work.

You’re climbing an uphill battle on this board.
I’m consistently amazed at the number of white Americans that apparently have zero interaction or relationship with the immigrant community. Hardest working and most ambitious people I meet in the US are immigrants regardless of religious or ethnic background.
