While this mornings decision is great, it will not be the end of abortion.

I'm sure the dems have been working on a back-up plan.

They won't give up.

well thats been the whole point of the Dems and Roe to begin with. Something you dont seem to understand either.... over turning Roe isnt the ban of abortion....It gives the power back to the states.. How the US Constitution intends.

There is never an end in politics

Divisive issues such as this are always in the back pockets of Politicians to keep people divided

This decision was never about ending abortion, it was about returning the decision to the states.

I'm sure they will ratchet up their pro-abortion laws. It wouldn't shock me if they even go to the extent of allowing post-birth "abortions". But I don't see how they can force pro-life states into allowing abortions if they choose to ban them with this ruling.

It isn't just abortion rights that the dems are pissed about.
It's about them losing some power.

The left used it as a tool saying it would ban abortions.

They already tried this, and it failed. I don't see Manchin or Sinema backtracking on their stance. If they were going to backtrack, they would've already done it with as much flack as they took from the Dems when they originally took their stand.

Ironically abortion rates rose under trump for the first time since Reagan was in office. Decisions to abort are more about fear and pressure from family members. If you want to end abortion , support the women, volunteer at Christian pregnancy centers and donate there. Do not waste your time on fing politicians

Anyone that has any actual knowledge of the situation knows that it wont "end abortion".

It kicks it back to the states. And you know damn well there will be "sanctuary" states for it.

True, but the bigger part of this is not about abortion at all but rather returning power to the states.

I have a problem with both sides...

the stupidity I see in Louisiana with no exception for health of the mother and rape...

the stupidity I see in states that allow full-term abortion

things were headed for legalization in 1972 on a state-by-state basis, Roe preempted the process, abortion wouldn't be the issue it is if it had been allowed to work through the states...

I don't understand the overreaction to this by both sides. Just goes to show you how stupid the electorate is.

It doesn’t end it but millions more won’t die because of it.
