for that. I wonder where he really is. It looks like a high school cafeteria or something that's been retrofitted to look like his "basement." It looks like they've curtained off a small section of a much larger room. The ceiling is higher than they've made it look like. Which is why they've raised everything up. Jmo. Maybe it's the mess hall in the jail they're being kept at?

I don't know about the stool, but the white "pad" to me looks like one of those plastic, white foldout banquet tables you can buy at Walmart. Just folded in half to make his chair sit higher.
I think they had to raise everything up to make it mesh with a higher ceiling and not look out of scale.
I'd wager that the other people in the OP are sitting in a room very similar, if not the same damn room exactly.

The studio set is in his basement home theater room complete with ceiling speakers, projector, and descending screen (lousy setup). Appears to double as a sitting/meeting room.

Who are all the little kiddie toys there for? I’d think Sasha and Malia are a bit old for those. Although, I do recall Michelle saying something about their Teddy Bears when they had to leave the White House, so who knows?
