I was watching a video earlier of a group of young men at the Guatemala–Mexican border who were hurling rocks at a helicopter that was inspecting the scene. Some of the young men could be seen shooting the bird at the helicopter, while others filmed the exploits on smart phones.
If these people are so dirt poor and in such dire straits, how do they afford smart phones and smart phone plans?
