The Hispanics in Houston (and I’m painting with a hugely large brush) are about as happy go-lucky as they always are.
They live on mañana time, and are going about life as best as any of us can, amidst the COVID-19 restrictions.
I don’t want to say there’s not any “give a damn,” because they’re compassionate people.
But truth be told, it’s kind of a “It’s really unfortunate that George Floyd died” attitude, and that’s about it.
Zero rioting or anything like that.

Bro I'm a fricking Hispanic immigrant. I think I may know a little more than you do. My father, god rest his soul, didn't bring us here to waste. He would've left us in Honduras for that.
