Hebrews 8:13 says the old covenant is obsolete, so I wouldn't believe in any Jewish prophecy and expect a literal 3rd temple.

Like someone said earlier. All of the materials are ready to go for the temple to be built. Even the red heifer is back after being extinct for years.

Everything necessary for the construction and dedication of the Temple is already in place except for the political agreement needed to start building. A perfect red heifer has already been bred. DNA has identified the descendents of Aaron to serve as high priests. For a long time It was thought that there was no oil of announcing since the tree necessary for one of the ingredients has been extinct for over 1000 years but some of the oil was recently discovered.
