I'll tell you why you're wrong about this one. You're wrong about all of them because like most liberals you are emotional and didn't read the entire bill. Or even contemplate the far reaching effects. You hear mental disability and you think mental disorder. Now there are already laws against people with mental disorders from buying guns. This law would have keep all people that get disability checks who had a mental disability from purchasing a gun. To educate you I have linked a wiki about Mental Disability. Mental Disability

Now take me for instance. I had a Hemorrhagic Stroke(bleed) four years ago that attacked my Broca's area of my brain. Broca's area is the part that governs speech. I have a hard time speaking because I try to access the words and they are just not there. So that makes me mentally disabled. So with the law that was repealed I wouldn't have been able to buy a gun. So tell me why I shouldn't be allowed to buy a gun when the only thing wrong with me is I have a hard time speaking.

There is a lot of people who have minor disabilities that would have been denied the right of purchasing a gun.

OK, you really are bad at math. You're only off by 100%. The real number is 148.3%. Now Trump's stock market has gone up 15.1% in 8 months. So if he continues at that pace,and has two terms like Obama that would be 181.2%. So actually he would have to dial back to get a paltry 148.3%. That's not taking into account that stocks really don't work that way. I would have to get into serious math to show you. I don't have the time or inclination to educate you. So I destroyed your agument using simple numbers.

I've read the entire bill, and what it did was repeal the law that made the SSA report the individuals that receive benefits to the FBI to prevent them from buying guns. This only affected people who receive Social Security benefits.
I understand your situation and I hope that you will be ok going forward, but this law made it easier for people with mental illnesses to get guns. It's just like if you became a felon for taxes you can't own a gun just like someone who committed a violent crime
