I’ll bite, I think you are way off. No matter the incentive, LEOs as a whole won’t follow these orders. Most LEOs are gun owners, and all police forces are severely out gunned if they so chose to take on their local populace in a gun fight.

Well, it won't be him, as he lacks the mental and physical courage to try.
It won't be LEOs or Military, because they have the right to refuse illegal orders.
All I know is this: Anybody tries it with me, they won't get my weapon, but they will get something delivered to them from said weapon.

I'll believe it when I see it. California wouldn't be passing their new "red flag" laws (that even the anti-gun ACLU oppose) if they weren't going to be enforced by LEOs. They will be, just like everything else.

The resentment for gun confiscation is so strong in our country that those LE Departments willing to confiscate better be prepared to fire on Americans as most will not give up their guns without a fight. As for California, all the unconstitutional gun laws they passed are strictly for virtue signaling.

During last month's debate, O'Rourke said, "Hell yes, we're going to take your AR-15, your AK-47." The comment was met with swift condemnation by Republicans and many Democrats who said it was tantamount to confiscation.

You are very wrong. Most LEOs have limited job options and are barely getting by. If they are facing termination for insubordination, they’ll carry out the orders.
I don’t know how this is even in question...the same thing has played out countless times throughout the last 100 years around the world.
The same people saying LEO will not act on this are the people that trusted the IC prior to the last 2 years.
90% will be taking your guns...at least. Same for military.

A gun battle? Lol. Police live amongst us. In our communities. They are our neighbors. We know where they sleep at night. Where their wives work. What their routine schedules look like. Good fences make good neighbors, and small details matter.
Insurgency is only rarely gun battles. Cops enforcing these laws would need security details for themselves and their families, both on and off-duty.
Hint: there aren't enough police personnel in existence to keep them safe 24/7/365 if their neighbors want them dead. Most police know this, and they aren't coming to take your AR and risk you firebombing their house at 2am while their families sleep inside.

He was pressed that when he said US citizens would follow the law.. and said that criminals don't follow the law.. what does he propose.. he had no answer.. 
I think someone should ask him what he would do if cities, counties or states declared themselves as gun sanctuaries and told police not to cooperate or enforce the gun confiscation.. What would he do then?

So now Beto wants the police going door to door? Can you imagine? That is the day freedom is gone and we are truly a police state! The police better wear body armour and bring extra body bags because a lot of them would be picked off from homeowners! After the debate last night, Beta Boy was exposed as totally inept and incompetent, not that most of us didn't already know!

I’ll make a friendly wager with you my man, IF it ever comes to gun confiscation, I’ll give you every dollar I have if only 10% of LEOs refuse that order. You are delusional if you think the other 90% love their job so much, that for the small paycheck they get, risk getting into a gun fight going door to door enforcing an unconstitutional order.

Look at other nations in which the same thing has happened, like Germany, Russia or even New Zealand and Australia. In the later two, shots weren’t fired because law abiding citizens end up abiding by the law.
You pay astronomical taxes every year dutifully...likely well above what our forefathers intended...because you obey the law.
