It definitely does, and has from the beginning of human history. It fluctuated before the early ancestors of mankind roamed the African savannas.

The difference now is that climate change and global warming has accelerated due to human activity, pumping massive doses of greenhouse gases into the air, as well as raising huge herds of farm animals that liberate methane at an alarming rate. We've reached a critical point of no return in the war against climate change: a positive feedback loop has been established.

Fifty years ago, science said we were entering a new ice age. Twenty years ago, Al Gore said Mt Kilimanjaro would be without snow within a decade.

Science has consistently been wrong, and has evolved throughout history. The arrogance to declare that man-made global warming is "settled" based on a relatively miniscule sample size in the grand scope of this world's existence is irresponsible.

This country's carbon emissions have been steadily declining for years, yet our elected officials insist on more economically crippling legislation and regulation. Meanwhile, China continues to not give a shite. If the situation is as dire as we're told, the American government won't be saving the planet anyway.

So Republicans are now climate savvy!
