re: What's your best guess for Trumps VP and when does he announce it?

Sarah Huckabee Sanders
I could easily see this.
Tulsi would be a not bad pick too. Everyone on both sides would hate it which means she's actually a good compromise pick.

I think he’s already selected Vivek and will announce it earlier than the convention, and also earlier than it is traditionally announced.
Vivek wants to be the President. VP is his most direct path to the nomination in ‘24. There’s no way Vivek is campaigning this hard for him bc he’s not currently serving in any other political office and doesn’t need Trump’s help to stay in some political office.
He’s also JFK and Lawfare insurance. In no way am I suggesting he’s anything like Dick Cheney, but I can see him having a Cheneyesque role as VP insofar as advisor / decision maker with respect to the hiring/firing of bureaucrats.
Vivek has a small base of support from his presidential campaign, and he will do well with younger, professional voters with kids.
Kash is my personal favorite of all Trumpers bc he’s smart AF, and hates the deep state the most. I think Kash wants to actually be in the cabinet somewhere. And I would love it if he were AG.

I think it’ll be someone center left which is where Trump is actually. Last time he needed the far right. Now the far right is lock step with him no matter what. I think it’ll be Tulsi and he’ll shift his platform to a pro-choice states choice, legalized marajuana stance to capture the middle and younger voter. Obama did this with LBGQ and it worked. The common sense democrat and independent voters are looking for a way to leave Biden.

Nikki Haley is my guess. She suspended her campaign two weeks ago but yesterday she got
18.6% in Arizona
13.8% in Florida
14.3% in Illinois
16% in Kansas
14.3% in Ohio
Trump likes her, hired her once already and she has access to the donor class that Trump needs. Trump's also probably looking for a woman and/or minority (Republicans are just as bad when it comes to diversity hires).

I think it’s safe to assume he will be more careful this go-around.

Donalds?
Vivek?
Huckabee-Sanders?
Scott?
Trump should avoid choosing Lake....does not pull any additional voters.
Not really excited about Noem
Maybe Carson, he's a safe pick and very likable.
