Are you intentionally being obtuse? In the OP I clearly said I was researching the ongoing situation in Myanmar.. which is why I created the thread. One consequence of biased and fake media is that you tend to get more accurate information from an online message board

Jihadists aren't popular in a Buddhist country. This wasn't the only spark. Interestingly, the Brits imported the Muslims when Burma was a colony.
