To summarize above, Barr FUBAR'd muh Russia. In the summer of 2018, Barr sent a letter to Rod Rosenstein basically explaining why every interpretation of the Mueller Team's hypertechnical interpretation of the obstruction statute was legally specious.
After 2018 mid-terms, Barr is confirmed and Mueller is given a timeline. Mueller shits the bed and muh Russia falls apart. It was a checkmate. And for that, he will always have my gratitude.
I get the perception he's slow-walked, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt for the reasons stated that it was because of his integrity to the case & evidence & not because he is deep state.
