Energy is Power multiplied by Time. Take a frozen White Castle cheese burger, put it in your microwave, and cook it on High for 45 minutes. What you are left with is what the person carrying a weapon that was disabled by any kind of EMF weapon would look like. The amount of energy needed to affect any change whatsoever in any component inside of a firearm that would prevent it from firing is huge. Huge enough to turn the person holding the weapon into slag.

Those guys were suffering a sonic attack. Likely from a chopper overhead or a drone. Which is new stuff. The weapon isn't but we've probably got much better ones now than the one's we had twenty years ago. It wouldn't stop a gun from working. But it can make you forget all about fighting or pulling a trigger and really just want to get the frick out of your body because it's gone really wrong, really fast for some reason.

Not necessarily. Specifically tuned (to the metal of a weapon) microwaves pulsed in short bursts could apparently get it done.

From what I have read. They disabled the anti air missiles using some type of EMP device. They also used some type of direct microwave weapon against the soldiers. Which made their ears and nose bleed. With some soldiers even vomiting blood. This type of weapon was used in Europe against protesters. There are videos on YT of it.

That's true. There's video of them bringing the dead soldiers back to Cuba. They weren't in coffins. It looked like they had been cremated or something.

I don't believe there is any type of real "energy weapon" that could actually disable a physical firearm from firing.
Some type of sonic weapon that could incapacitate humans? Certainly plausible if targeted in a small area and based on some real scenarios that have been tested, not just theory.
Trump says lots of things and some of this exaggeration is part of the theater to strike fear in our enemies.
Does our military have some bad arse weapons we may not know everything about? Without question, but the laws of physics are still intact.
