Rand’s last run did not inspire confidence in me

Hopefully, like President Trump, someone who truly wants to MAGA. You don't subject yourself to that level of idiocy and derangement and not truly love your country. You cannot say the man doesn't love his country. He's not young, has plenty of wealth, absolutely didn't need to be president to make his life better....yet there he is every day fighting for all of us and to MAGA.

I think they'll win in 2024, demographics and idiots my age are going to get their socialist eventually. scary to think about how fast things are moving.
Yep. I believe Trump was an anomaly, not the beginning of a trend.
Four more years is a long time from now, but this nation is absolutely swamped with socialists/progessives pushing their bullshite in every corner and on every media platform.
I still think this country is absolutely fricked, Trump just delayed the inevitable for four (hopefully eight) years.

I think you know.
Better question would be is there out there somewhere another candidate not bought and paid for or leveraged in ways that make them just a puppet.
The irony of Trumps Presidency is that it potentially could be the biggest reason future GOP struggle to win. When you've played your best hand, what else is left?
The candidate would have to have the same level of appeal as Trump and cater to the same voters. That will be very difficult, even for a seasoned conservative. Alot of politicians simply do not have the charisma or fortitude to deal with criticism like Trump.
There will be many tryhards (like any popular brand or person) but that usually just leads to further splits in the party and not getting enough support to rival the Democrats.
I'm not a fan of political dynasties, Bush taught us how that usually works. Nothing against Jr, but usually dynasties become weaker over time.

Someone that employs the Trump strategy of:
- Never apologe or give in to them
- Punch back when they attack
- Not afraid to go on the offensive
- Speak directly to the people whenever possible
- shite on the MSM

What kind of Republican would want to run for President in 2024?
Probably not the kind we need

It will be interesting to see if a lot of Republicans run in the 2024 primary . I think it will be packed with people trying to old Trump the other . I want another outsider businessman like Brian or John James . I would think Desantis would be a front runner but he would be up for re-election as governor.

I'd do it, but I won't be old enough. Might not even have a family by then
