Pedo Joe supporters are in full blown meltdown mode because Trump legalized hemp.

So instead of giving people any basic rights over their own healthcare choices the buttercup brigades of alphabet aholes spend all day demonizing freedom.

Yes, we all know Pedo Joe and his supporters hate weed. Message received.

80/20 rule folks. While TV doctor is going all Reefer Madness, they are just ignoring the real bad stuff like alcohol, prescription drugs, and food. Yes, food, as it is produced in America may be the worst of them all.

But hey, let’s worry about the stoner.

(Psst, we can’t talk about those other things because the money lobby behind them will make us go away)

I have no desire to either smoke that stuff these days, or necessarily to stop people from smoking it, but I will say one point is abundantly clear, and that’s that the weed people are smoking today is not remotely the weed we smoked in the 70’s and 80’s, not by a long shot.

Besides the potential psychotic side effects, I just have no interest in something that makes me lazy and mentally take the back seat to life, and while I definitely see an upside to people using it to combat serious health conditions as I think it should be available to them to do so, I also don’t think it’s wide spread recreational usage in this country is something necessarily positive for our society on a whole.

Like anything though, regardless of what people do, enthusiasm should be tempered with caution and good decision making. I’d just make sure that there isn’t something hampering one’s ability to make sound personal decisions for one’s self.

In fairness so do drunk baws at the bar.

I don't smoke it but don't care if others do as long as they don't drive while stoned.

Don't remember where I saw it, maybe in a movie, but two cops were sitting on the side of the road and they had their radar on a car. It comes "zooming" by and one cop turns to the other. "How fast was he going?" The cop with the radar said "6".

My status changed recently and I no longer have to get drug tested and I’d been looking at low doses for pain relief (muscular in my case) but haven’t been able to try it until recently. In a study of 1, 1/8 of a 25mg Delta 8 gummy worked about as well as codeine the 3 times I’ve tried it. I’m going to reduce the dose further to see what happens, as apparently the pain relief function is more effective with very small doses. I have no idea if I want to keep using it because I haven’t dug into the side effects. At a low enough dose I guess they’re minimized but I have no idea.

Weed is not addictive at all. It’s what you do high as frick that is addictive.
