We expect Democrats to support big spending liberals, not Republicans.

I never like deficit spending and think it should be a constitutional amendment.

There are only 60 some people in the House that are not uniparty. You have to stop looking at it differently or you will never understand why things are going the way they are.

Yet they have been for DECADES. And Free Trade Globalism compound the issues.

Where you been over the past 40 to 70 decades?

Wait... I forgot. Those Republicans understood when it was ok to use deficit spending..

It sounds to me like you folks are coming around to cooperation, and believe playing hardball doesnt work, eh?

Someone better tell Matt Gaetz.

I find it interesting you pose such a thoughtless point.

My point was spot on. All the excuses you lay out are, well, excuses. And to be clear, I'll never argue Trump's job was easy. It was extremely hard and played on a field titled against him. But as I said, reality is he wasn't up to it.

\

True.

I still dont like it and dont approve it.

I'm further right than Conservatives on fiscal issues. I am more into clasical economics. Not Keynesian.

Wrong the reasons hindered his presidency greatly. Not to mention he had no idea the deep state was so prevalent. Like I said now he knows the players and he will be murdered for it just like JFK.

I'm not so sure. At our debt level there will be fewer and fewer buyers. We are only a failed auction or two away from fiscal dominance. Fiscal dominance would be a cliff rather than a slope decent.

Rush supported Trump

Rush was an actor, changed his values for Trump. Deep inside he was classic economist.

quote:

They are admitting that big spending is a huge problem. In pointing to this piece, "Hey, it isn't me, it isn't me," they are admitting, they are accepting the premise, if you will, the Tea Party premise, our premise, that Obama's spending is reckless, that it's dangerous, that it is destroying the future of your kids and grandkids. That's why the Tea Party exists. People know that this is happening. They know they've never seen spending like this. They know they've never seen indebtedness racked up this fast. They know it instinctively. That's why the Tea Party came into existence.

Rush Limbaugh 2012

quote:

How many years have people tried to scare everybody about [the deficit]? How many years, how many decades have politicians tried to scare us about the deficit, the national debt, (Sen. Jim Sasser pronunciation) "the dafycit," any number of things? Yet here we're still here, and the great jaws of the deficit have not bitten off our heads and chewed them up and spit them out.

RUSH in 2019 gritting up a storm.

I thought it was clear in my post that I'm absolutely voting Trump in the general, and IMO the vast majority of guys center-right and right that were not Trump supporters in the primary will also. The reason I didn't support Trump in the primary is he's too establishment-friendly and liberal, but in comparison to Biden or any Dem he's not nearly the disaster they are.

So you don't watch any of his speeches. Pretty sure he holds a grudge over the FBI suppressing important voter information and political speech on social media just for starters.

The only thing that hindered Trumps presidency was his constant attacks on those he needed for support.

Hes not capable of getting people behind his vision (because he doesnt have one) and cannot get people behind his ideals, because of his stupid loyalty stuff.
