My godfather is a doctor, someone I respect. I asked him about the vaccine. He got it. I said “so you aren’t concerned about possible long term side effects?” “Oh I have concerns,” he said. “But I’m in my 70s. I’ll most likely be dead one way or the other in 15 years. For me, getting vaccinated makes sense. But if I was a healthy young man, I’d have to think long and hard whether or not to get the vaccine. Because regardless of what anyone tells you, these are experimental vaccines that were rushed, were not subjected to the standard testing, evaluations, and studies, and we do not know the long term possible effects they may have on us.”
