This is BamaATL level. Congrats.
Citing DOGE as somehow "cutting" when the printing machine is about to go brrr is quite the display of ignorance on the issues.

I agree with Massie on spending, but he's not right on this.
We are cutting spending. We are about to do a deep dive into medicare and medicaid. In fact, DOGE has begun reviewing the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) systems.
But that appears to not be a good thing for you. Why?

We are literally not, unless you mean 7B (and that would be even worse)

You're being dishonest.
I want spending cuts. MAGA just had its first opportunity to engage in them, and failed.
DOGE is irrelevant if we continue to print money in government funding bills.
I already addressed this last page
quote:
DOGE has cut 0 spending
The CR is the spending. MAGA just voted to support spending at Biden levels. That means more printing, deficits, and a larger debt.
DOGE is completely irrelevant if we continue to spend at these levels. The money just doesn't go to executive agencies and sits in Treasury accounts. But make no mistake it's printed and our debt increases accordingly.
The question is why you support this.

I have no problems with the idea of DOGe.
Long overdue. I’ve been involved with all levels of government and the waste is maddening.
Looking at the budget numbers I don’t see the bottom line cuts. Let’s hope we get there.
In all honesty, cuts will be extremely difficult because in reality people only support them if they aren’t affected. That’s a challenge no one has figured out.

MAGA literally just supported a CR to spend at Biden levels
The framing is hilarious. Trump added $6 trillion in debt, and wanted to add more on top. But Massie is ineffective at cutting spending... it's all his fault!
Next, they'll be saying "Shumer bent the knee!" when in reality, he got everything he wanted, because this is just Biden's last budget carried forward.

The funny part is during the campaign I was hesitant about DOGE for this exact reason. I mean EXACT. Even when people were jacking off to it a few weeks ago, I said "we'll see in a few weeks"

Which is why I stated shock and awe.
We are going to find out what the admin is about when it comes to a balanced budget. We may see that they will not do a damn thing, but I don't believe that to be the case. Mainly because it would political death blow to many people on the hill.
If the American people see all of the waste in total, it's nolonger what slowmo is trying to do in this thread. Which is to say that because we are in the first 2 months nothing has happened (which is not true at all).
We are going to have an outcome.
1- DOGE was not able to find much and that will end careers.
2- They find what they believe to be there and the number will piss people off. Either congress act to handle their jobs or they will be voted out.
Plans are being put into play as we speak. One is the President's budget for the next year.

No one with skin in the game does. Most people capable of thinking beyond blind loyalty recognize that they've made some pretty stupid decisions.

Again, he misses the boat with that tweet. He fails to see the difference in this Admin and it's actions vs every other GOP or DEM president.
He can not name one in his stint that has pushed for a deep dive into waste. And that's the difference in his equation.
In September, we will have way more information on fraud and waste and the demand to cut will be massive. Nobody is going want to go out on a political limb (see Chuckie this week) and say that we have to keep sending money to dead people and for the promoting transgender... etc.
